What is the EEB2 Network for Gifted Children’s Families?
This Network is a group for families, having a gifted child enrolled in EEB2, who want to connect with the aim of supporting each other through the joys and challenges of raising a gifted child, and in order to better support their children in developing their potential and growing healthy and happy.
Who can join the Network?
The Network is open to any parent or guardian of a gifted child enrolled in EEB2 Woluwe/Evere. To join the network, your child should already have been identified as gifted by a professional.
I think that my child is gifted, but s/he has not been identified as gifted yet. Can I join the Network?
You can contact us and we will be happy to share the name of some centres and professionals in Brussels who can test your child. However, we can welcome you in the Network only when a professional has assessed that your child is indeed gifted.

What is the purpose of this Network?
The Network is a hub for knowledge sharing, a group of mutual support, to share resources and experiences, for parents to collaborate and advocate together for appropriate support, and for children to find their “tribe”.
What the Network does not offer?
We are not health professionals (psychologists, doctors, or else) so the content of this page and the exchanges or activities within the Network should not be intended as medical advice. If this is what you need, we invite you to address health professional.
Is there a fee to join the Network?
No, the participation to the Network is free.
In case you want to support the Network maintenance and activities, though, you can do a donation.
Is this group sponsored or affiliated to other organisations?
This group is indipendent and self-financed. It does not benefit from any sponsorship nor is affiliated to any organisation. Any donation is used to finance the management, maintenance and activities of the Network, without any revenue or gain for the founders and members.

Step 1: is your child gifted?
Ensure that this is a network which matches your needs and where you can fit in well. If your child has been already identified as gifted by a health professional, go to step 2. If not, better to contact one who can give you an accurate assessment.

Step 2: get in touch
You can contact us by e-mail. We will organise with you a chat, so that we can have a first one-to-one contact. Following this, you can be included in the Network.

Step 3: Participate and enjoy the Network
As a member of our Network, you can access all our resources and participate in the activities that we organise.
